Clarity AlertMaster AMAX Audio Transmitter

The AlertMaster® AMAX™ Audio Monitor, by Clarity®, is a signaling transmitter that alerts to the sound of a smoke alarm or other audio alerts in the home. It becomes activated after 15 seconds of continuous sound and is an ideal solution for those with a moderate-to-severe hearing loss. This audio transmitter does not alert to T3 smoke or T4 C/O alarms. T3 alarms have a repeating beep-beep-beep-pause sound pattern. T4 alarms have a repeating beep-beep-beep-beep-pause sound pattern.

• Works with continuous sound detectors - does not alert to T3 (3 beeps, pause, 3 beeps) smoke alarms, which includes any alarm made after 1996, or T4 (4 beeps, pause, 4 beeps) C/O alarms

What else do I need to make this work?

In order to be notified, you will need to purchase a receiver that lets you know when the signaler or transmitter is activated (see Accessories box).
